Westell ADSL Modems and iCU2

There are two different solutions for the Westell Modems (supplied by our users). Please try them to see if it resolves the issue for you:
Solution 1:
1. Start your web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc)
2. Delete address in url line
3. Type in new url address – 192.168.1.254 (this will take you into the Westell modem)
4. O-n this page there will be a button called “expert mode” click on this button
5. Click on “yes, enter expert mode”
6. Click on “configure”
7. Click on “nat”
8. Find icu / icuii in the drop down box and click on “enable”
9. Restart computer then try iCU2
or
Solution 2:
1: Go to the address 192.168.1.1 on your web browser.
2: Select under the “Configuration” section the “Service Configuration” feature.
3: Enter enter the administrative name of my modem and its password. (normally the username/password of your internet account)
4: Select “iCU2 Client” under the “Select A Service” field of the Service Name.
5: It then asks “Host Service?” click on the “OK” field.
6: A new window appears and shows the “Host Device” which should be your computer name or local IP address:
7: Click on Done.
8: Restart Computer and try iCU2
