Kasperky Internet Security 6.0 Blocking Direct Calls and QMs
0By admin in : Calls, QMs, Pal List // Jan 19 2010
If you are using Kaspersky Internet Security and cannot receive direct Calls (connects) and QMs all have globes in front of them instead of an envelope. Please follow the instructions below to setup Kaspersky Internet Security so that it allows direct communications on iCU2:
1: Open Kaspersky Internet Security
2: Click on “Anti Hacker”

3: Click on “Firewall”

4: Click on “Settings”

5: Click on “Add…”, then click on “Browse..”

6: Navigate to your current iCU2 folder, normally it is c:\program files\icuii\ or “My Computer – C – Program Files – iCU2″ and double click on the file called icuii.exe

7: Click on “Template…” then click on “Allow All”
8: You will now have the two entries shown below. Click on OK and retry iCU2. You should now be able to receive direct Calls / Connects and the majority of QMs will be sent with an envelope instead of a globe.

Note: “Allow Any UDP Activity” can be un-selected unless you have problems with your Pal List not displaying users online.
