If you are seeing an error message when starting iCU2 that states ” Fix Me “. This indicates that your iCU2 installation has become corrupt in some way. Please read below for information and a fix.

Please try the fix below for replacing the “server” files. If that fails to
resolve the issue please try doing a clean installation of iCU2.

Replacing Server files:
Please turn off iCU2 before attempting this…

Download the icuiiservers.zip file
Inside the .zip file are two files: servers & servers2
these two files have to be placed in your existing iCU2 folder (overwrite
the existing files when asked)

To locate your existing iCU2 folder:

1: Right click on your iCU2 desktop icon
2: Choose “Properties” – A new window will appear
3: On the Shortcut window, click on “Find Target” (towards the bottom left of the window)
4: After clicking on “Find Target” the iCU2 folder should appear. This is the location you must transfer the 2 files (servers & servers2) into.

After doing that, start iCU2 and check to see if you still a “fix me” error
when starting iCU2.

If that fails to resolve the issue. Please follow the instructions below for
doing a clean installation of iCU2:

****To Back up the PAL list you need to go to the iCU2 folder (default is C:/program files/icuii )
and copy the file called PAL and ALL FOLDERS that start with a number and end with .usr (i.e. – 7c05f2d267c639d6c46d.usr) to another location on your Hard Drive or to Removable Media (RECOMMENDED!).

To restore simply copy these files back to the iCU2 folder.
(You will lose all PALS added after your last back-up).
This backup is ONLY good for the current fix you are attempting. You would have to back these files up each time you change your PAL list to use it to restore at a later time.
