- How do I view people’s video (VOD) in the Lobbies?
To view people’s video (VOD) you can either click on the Video All Users button. This will initiate a VOD request to everyone in the Chat Lobby and their video will appear as long as they haven’t turn off their Live Cam or set themselves to Pals Only mode. (To stop all of the videos appearing press CTRL H on your keyboard or press the Hang Up Calls button) 
Or you can click on the user’s name in the directory or in chat and choose “View User’s VOD”.- How do I stop people viewing my Video (VOD) in the Lobbies?
- To Stop people viewing your video (VOD). You can either:

Set yourself to Pals Only Mode via the button at the top of your main iCU2 window.
Select Live Cam Off at the bottom of your main iCU2 window. - What is Pals Only Mode?
Pals Only Mode allows only people on your Pal List to view your Video on Demand, Send you Quick Messages or attempt to call you. If someone tries to QM you and they are not on your Pal List, they will receive an automated QM to tell them that their QM has not been accepted- What is Live Cam Off?
Live Cam Off (beside the Talk Button) will stop attempted VOD connections while maintaining people you are viewing connected, and mutual connections active.
Using the green Cam icon will pause your VOD when clicked to Dark Green, and unpause when Bright Green.To stop transmitting video at all – you can choose “Don’t Send Video” in the Settings | Options | Audio/Video area.
- How can I send the same QM to multiple people?
- Create a Quick Message to someone as you normally would then click on the tab that says “Additional Recipients”
You can them tick the names of other people in your Pal List that you want to send a copy of the QM to. - How can I turn off images for certain people in the Lobbies?
If you don’t want to see the chat image from a user, but don’t want to totally ignore them, you can right click on the user’s name within the chat and select Ignore Users Chat Image- How do I add Pals to my Pal List?
- You can now Add Pals in 3 ways. The long standing normal method via the Message Center (select QM received then click on Add Pal button). Or click the blue underlined name in the chat lobby and then select Add Pal . Or select a user via the User List, right click their name and “Add Pal”.
- How can I ignore a person?
- You can now Ignore Users by the normal method via the Message Center (select QM then click on Ignore Communications from this Person). You can also do it via the blue underlined name in the chat lobby and then select Ignore User. Or you can select a user via the User List, right click their name and “Ignore User”.
- What do blue and gray names signify in the User List?
- Blue names in the User List are active users who have done something (call, qm, viewed profile or typed in the chat lobby) recently. Grey names are people that are currently away from their iCU2 program or inactive.

- Which Lobbies are hosted by iCU2 and which are hosted by users?
- Lobbies that are displayed in black text are iCU2 run Lobbies. Lobbies displayed in gray text are User Created Lobbies.
- How do I chat with the people I am VODing? (without having to QM them)
- To chat with people without QMing or Calling them, you chat with them via the lobby you are both in. Everyone in the lobby will see the conversation. We are working on a “whisper” mode for a future release which will all you to select a user in the lobby and send them a private “whisper” that only they can see in the lobby.
Creating your own lobby for a smaller group to communicate with, or even just one other person in a passworded lobby will give you an easy to chat and simultaneously view any number of users you choose. - Can I make the lobby I created remain open even if I am away for more than a day?
- Yes, as long as someone is in your lobby it will stay open. You can close/delete your lobby at any time by clicking on Lobby | Delete Lobby, at the top of the main iCU2 window. Note: passworded lobbies that are empty will not allow users without the password in. At least one person must be present in any given lobby for it to remain available once it hits the cutoff time. (Currently the cutoff time is 24 hours)
